FROM next week we're giving you a new-look Waterford News & Star. And we're sure you'll love it.

We're saying goodbye to our traditional-looking broadsheet format and giving you the same great quality newspaper in a handy tabloid size.

The new, modern tabloid will bring you all the favourite bits of Waterford's best newspaper but in an easier format.

Research has told us that you'd prefer the News & Star in a more compact size so we've listened to you and taken the historic decision to end more than forty years of broadsheet publishing.

Your new-look Waterford News & Star will still have all the things you tell us you like from unparalleled news coverage to great features and the trenchant views of The Phoenix.

There's our award-winning sports coverage, local entertainment and features, and eye-catching photos to look forward to as usual every week. And as an added bonus, from next week, we'll also be giving you your own seven-day TV guide.

We're sure you'll be happy and look forward to hearing what you think. So don't miss the new look Waterford News & Star on sale next week.
