Balllyduff denied by late Quirke equaliser

A LAST minute point from a free by James Quirke gave De La Salle a hard earned draw with an unfancied Ballyduff Lower side at Walsh Park on Saturday last, a result that gave the Kilmeaden side a life line and open up the contest for the two automatic quarter final places in group B with one series of games left.

Lismore advance and pile more pressure on Mount Sion

LISMORE’S five point win over Mount Sion in Fraher Field on Sunday last decided the quarter finalist qualifiers from Group C with Abbey-side already through following Saturday’s win over Passage. That now leaves Mount Sion and Passage to play their final game which will decide who will playoff for the last quarter final place as third in the group or who will go into the relegation play offs.
